We are a small business that started in the winter of 1997 which was formalized and established on February 14, 1998 where a visionary man originally from Manzanillo, Colima, Mexico, looked for a way to do things right, following the regulations of the city and state, betting his entire dream on putting a taco stand on the famous corner of what was the famous Sears department store! It was quite a challenge, but sudden success is a scam, but things done right take time and not for nothing, Tacos Don Rafa has been on the same corner of 798 South State Street for almost 30 years, winning various awards, recognitions, and honored by the people because the goal was always for the people of Utah to have the opportunity to experience what it was like to eat a legal street taco following all regulations and every year TDR becomes a benchmark for innovations, projects, and an important pillar of the community, which has been recognized by authorities and celebrities!
Years of experience in the industry and the environment have allowed us to understand what people are looking for and how they want good tacos, fast and easy! No fuss, straight to the point! We have food trucks, taco carts, and a team of catering experts that can set up shop in almost any part of the state and the United States!
